This Saturday at 2 pm there will be a special youth service at Iglesia Roca Eterna, 1333 N 23 street Grand Junction CO 81501. There will be many young people attending. There will be 2 musical groups. This link is from Conexion, the winner of a national band competition. This event can be used for the cultural project AND can be used to earn 15 puntos for the 1st semester grade.

Many churches are invited from many cities in Colorado. There will be two musical groups Conexion (spanish rock) and AFEC (cumbia). This will be a good opportunity to complete your Cultural Reflection requirement.

La última semana de clases!!

En esta ultima semana de clases, la única tarea es mandarme un email, o un mensaje en facebook. Necesito saber que tú sabes entregarme la tarea. El email puede ser muy sencilla. Ejemplo: Buenos días Señor Guajardo. Due by jueves, 24 de mayo. G

PDS 1 ?Quién eres?

No te conozco todavia, y quiero conocerte. Preséntate: ?cómo te llamas?, cuántos anos tienes? que te gusta hacer? Qué no te gusta hacer? Ejemplo: Hola Profesor me llamo Jojo y tengo 15 años. Me gusta comer sandwiches, ver futbol americano, dormir y jugar videojuegos. No me gusta limpiar la casa ni banarme.

Summer Work 2012

You will have summer assignments for a total of 10 weeks during the summer. The assigngments will be posted every Monday here on this blog. The assignment is due Sunday evening of that week by 11 pm (mountain time). The total of the assignments will make up 10% of the first semester grade. The work is broken up into 3 main categories. 1) Pregunta de la semana: this is a posted blog question that you will respond to as well as respond to other comments. Two responses are requiered for a full score. 2)TPRS assignments: each week you will have work from your TPRS book. When you complete the assignments sent to me through the school email or through facebook. 3) Cultural Reflection: You will have 2 cultural reflection to complete over the summer. One has to be live. Meaning you will have to be face-to-face will Spanish speakers. The other can be passive: music, tv, video etc. G
